Keg and Case Market, built inside the former Schmidt Brewery in St. Paul, Minnesota, is filled with over 20 vendors including restaurants, a coffee shop, a juice shop, organic ice cream and more! If you haven't been here, we'd suggest going here to try out the different types of food and drinks to satisfy your hunger!
There are so many cool things about this place. You can shop for gifts or you can get some food to eat or do both. There's a brewery upstairs with some additional seating so you can see the entire place from the second level.
These are some of my favorite spots:
SPINNING WYLDE
Spinning Wylde looked like it came out of a fairy tale. They make cotton candy from organic cane sugar and plant-based dyes with over 50 flavors. The line was incredibly long so we didn't get a chance to get cotton candy but we watched them make it and it's looks like magic!
SWEET SCIENCE ICE CREAM
Can I say they have the best ice cream? They handcraft organic ingredients to create a one of a kind natural flavor. We tried the Strawberry Kolache from Poland. It has strawberry compote and pastry bits that makes it so delicious. I can't wait to try more flavors.
ROSE STREET PATISSERIE
We walked passed these macarons so I wanted to give it a try since I've been on a mission to find some good macarons. My favorites is the pistachio, raspberry rose and the exotic flavors. But my favorite macarons are still by Lana K's Bakery in Brooklyn Park.
BOGART'S DOUGHNUT CO.
We tried out the Nutella doughnut. The doughnut was fried nicely on the outside which gave it a nice crispy texture. The inside was filled with nutella. It was a generous amount and overflowed when we cut into it. I can't wait to try other flavors next time.
GREEN BEE JUICERY
I love anything that deals with juicing so I'm always willing to try different flavors. Green Bee Juicery creates nutrient-dense, rich juice. I got the morning dew which has green apple, kale, celery, pineapple, lemon and ginger. This green juice has minerals and vitamins to prevent digestive problems, help regulate blood glucose and good cholesterol.
We also got the Power Shot which has fresh pressed ginger root, lemon, raw honey and cayenne. It's a 2oz shot that gives you energy and boosts metabolism.
Overall, Keg and Case is a pretty cool food and shopping market. I recommend checking it out to try different foods to see what you like.
